The Knaphill Residents Association Village Event and AGM 2008 - March 2008

The recent Knaphill Residents Association (KRA) Village Event was another successful community event, with displays highlighting the strong links the Association has built with schools, clubs, churches and other community groups in the village during 2007. The event also looked ahead to the kind of future local people want for Knaphill and there were plans showing some of the ways that Knaphill may develop over the next few years. (See the section Issues:Development on this website for more information and links on these and other plans).

The Association Committee was on hand to chat to residents and hear their views. As well as displays and conversation, there was time to sit and relax. Before the Annual General Meeting, the retiring KRA Chairman Saj Hussain and his Committee gave a short review of the Associations work in 2007 and outlined some of their hopes for 2008.

The AGM saw the election of a new Chairman and some new Committee Members.(See Association information for details of the Committee and Constitution).

It was great to see Knaphill people meeting together and planning for a positive approach to 2008 in the local community.
