New planning documents

Woking Borough Council have released a number of documents for public consultation. The documents are titled, Draft Site Allocations Development Plan Document and its accompanying Draft Sustainability Appraisal Report and Habitats Regulations Assessment. Sounds a mouthful but they are important documents in that they identify sites where there can be new development in the borough. This is not only brown field sites but in some cases where current buildings could be demolished and new buildings built on the site.

The documents can be accessed on-line at Hard copies of the documents are also available in the local library.

The Residents’ Association will assess the impact of these reports on Knaphill and report back later.

The public consultation is open until 31 July 2015.
