Pop in to Knaphill Library – Everyone welcome and some extra special events for children!


There is always lots on offer at Knaphill Library and over the Easter holidays Kay and the Library Team are making sure there are plenty of extra events for children and young families.

You can come along to the Library for: A Special Royal Wedding Stories and Crafts Session on Thursday 21st April from 2 – 3 pm. This is for children aged 3 – 8 yrs. Tickets cost just £ 1 (to cover the cost of materials). Places are limited, so please call in to reserve a place.

There is also an Easter Colouring Competition – which is open to Library Members age under 11 years old. (Don’t worry if your younsters are not yet members, they can join the Library and then take part).

The Competition has started and will run until Easter Saturday so don’t delay. It is FREE to enter and there will be some super PRIZES in the ages: 2 – 5 yrs and 6 – 10 years old.

So get along to Knaphill Library. Encourage the children in the family to join. But, whatever your age you are always welcome at the Library.

There are books for every interest; through the ages and generations with autiobiographies, local history, romance and reference, thrillers and travel and almost everything in between; books can also be reserved.  There are DVDs and Internet access too, there is so much more on offer now……If you haven’t been in for a while, call in and take a look.  

Joining the Library is FREE and borrowing books is FREE.

KRA would like to encourage local people to use our local Knaphill Library……Remember….with all the threats of government cut backs and cost savings …..Surrey County Council is looking for ways to save money…..We are so lucky to have a modern, attractive local LIBRARY…..So please make sure you USE IT so we don’t LOSE IT!
