The Knaphill Village Show 2011 – Saturday 16th July – this weekend!

We have an impressive line up of stalls and entertainment for this year’s event: Punch & Judy Show, Chobham Morris Dancers, Live Music from The Betend and The Charlie Farley Sunday Four, nearly 50 Community and Local Business Stalls.

Absolutely something for everyone! Don’t worry about the weather……There will be lots of cover: stalls have their gazebos and there will be a large marquee for the ‘Performance Area’ for the Show Entertainment. Come along and have a WONDERFUL TIME! Community groups have been working hard to create activites for a fabulous day for visitors.

You don’t need to eat before you come to the Show. There will be a delicious range of excellent food for you to taste and try: The WI are running the Station Cafe, there will be a BBQ, Clara’s Caribbean Cookery, refreshments from the King’s House Coffee Shop, Doughnuts and Cakes, locally produced chutneys, jams and cakes for sale from Chobham Country Market and many of the Community Stalls.

Come along and support local clubs and charities: Girl Guides, Scouts, Woodcraft Folk, Knaphill’s Churches, Sure Start, Joshua Deller Appeal, The Cabin Youth Club, The Royal British Legion and lots more. The Knaphill Village Show is a great way to enjoy a fabulous day out…..and help the local community groups who do so much for the life of the village……. SEE YOU THERE!!

A quick note on travel and parking…

We’re very pleased to be able to have made arrangements for a shuttle bus to the show. Benny the Bus will be operating a circular route from the Vyne car park in Broadway, through the village to Barrs Lane and back via Chobham Road.

Running from 1300, this service is FREE but each bus can take only 12 passengers per trip so please be patient.

We have increased the number of parking spaces available this year although space is limited at peak time.

For those of you requiring disabled parking, we have provided this near the main show entrance but please remember to bring your badge!
