Marking 100 years since the founding by Royal Charter of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, this ground-breaking exhibtion is curated by CWGC staff and is staged in the Grade 1 listed Canadian Records Building, the largest CWGC site in the UK with more 5,000 burials and 3,500 commendations on the Brookwood Memorial.
The exhibition tells the story of the CWGC from its foundation through to the modern day, using historical objects and artefacts from the CWGC archive and collections, many of which have never been publically displayed before.
